Who is Ben Bleikamp?

That's me. My name is Ben Bleikamp. I'm a college student, web guy and freelance designer. I love Apple, golf, and Ohio State. I hate Internet Explorer but Windows is okay. I hate waking up early unless it's for a tee time. And I hate Michigan.

The Setup

Ben's Computer Setup

I currently work and play with a 2ghz MacBook with 2GB of RAM, a 120GB HD, and around 800GB of external HD space. I hook the MacBook up to a 23" Apple Cinema Display.

The Site

The site was built on the setup above and is run with WordPress 2.1, a theme I designed for myself, and some plug ins. I coded the site with XHTML and CSS. It almost certainly won't validate and is probably terribly messy. It also might not work well in certain browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc. - if that is the case, upgrade your browser.

Like I said, I'm a college student at Ohio State University majoring in Marketing with an Economics minor. I enjoy doing design work and it pays great for a college student (or anyone, really) but I would like to eventually do something "bigger." Who knows what that means.

The most trouble I've ever been in was for calling a teacher gay on AOL in the 7th grade. I shattered my kneecap freshman year of high school while standing still on skis in Southern Indiana - not exactly an exciting story. I have avoided skiing since then. And seriously, I hate Michigan.
