MarkEvansTech.com launch

Mark Evan’s (the VP of Operations at b5media) launched his new blog today. It was my first full design for b5 since their homepage redesign. It’s simple, red, and I tried to do something a little different with the typography than I normally do.

I’m still tweaking the design a little bit, finishing up the coding, and making a few changes that Mark has requested, but I the site is 99% done and I am happy with it. It’s not a crazy WordPress implementation or a unique blog format, but I like that it’s a clean blog design that gives Mark a professional place to discuss technology.

My next project with b5 is going to be quite a bit bigger: creating a template that can be implemented across their entire network for 150+ blogs.

  • Hi Ben,

sorry to report this, but for me, running Opera 9.02, the site is a total mess. Looks like all posts on the homepage are written above each other.

If you want, I can send you a screenshot. Let me know at: bacher AT graue-substanz DOT net

    Cheers

  • Frank - I am working on making it all look good in different browsers right now.

I must have made a stupid mistake positioning the post divs…

  • looking really nice Ben!

  • Thanks, Darren :)

  • Hi Ben,

now that I can actually “judge” the design I have to say it’s crisp and clear. Nothing that confuses the reader. Thumbs up! :-)

    Cheers
