Are you Googling me?

September 27th, 2006 / 5 comments / life

I notice Google referring quite a few visitors lately and almost all of them are searching “Ben Bleikamp.” I would suspect it was family and friends, but most of the referrals aren’t from google.com - they’re from .ca, .cz, etc. Lots of country domains.

So are you Googling me? And if you are, why?

I’m just interested in why people want to know about me. I don’t think I’m that interesting.

  • Ben, I did Google your name. It somehow stuck in my head while you were blogging on College Startup. I knew you had a personal site but wasn’t sure about the URL so I googled your name.

  • Hehehehehe. I have a confession to make Ben. I actually googled you yesterday! I was bored and I had googled Steve enough times. Steve is always talking about your website so I had to check it out for myself. Funny you noticed!

  • So my girlfriend stalks you at work … that doesn’t bother me, should it? I’m glad you caught her, it saved me years of traveling back and forth to Australia and who knows how much pain I would have suffered had I found out any other way - way to be a good friend, cheers.

  • Steve - Jill googling me doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the fact that you talk about my website “all the time.” I guess it’s nice that I type with an American accent - the Australians forgetting about the letter “r” must get old.

  • I am the lighter girl.
